To create this one-of-a-kind necklace, I first soldered together a hoop of copper wire and hammered it to create texture. I then assembled a dangle using a nugget of genuine American turquoise with two copper flowers, a carnelian bead, and a large sunny citrine bead. I wire-wrapped a chain of orange carnelian beads by hand, and created an asymmetrical look by adding copper chain on one side, and the hand-wrapped carnelian chain on the other side. I handmade a clasp as well. Finally, I oxidized the necklace and hand-polished every link and component to bring out the details. This summery necklace matches so many different outfits! The chain is 21" long, and the drop totals 3".
