These earrings are understated but still fun with their flashes of blue, pink, and purple! I made them by forging and hammering hoops and accompanying earring hooks from copper wire, then adding genuine Czech glass crystal drops onto the hoops, separated by small copper beads. I then wrapped small coils on either side of the beads. I specifically chose these glass drops for their perfect teardrop shapes, and the way they look clear but flash blue, pink, and a combinative purple as they move around. Lastly, I oxidized (antiqued) the copper and polished the high points to bring out the details.
Note: As these are bare, uncoated copper, they may temporarily turn the skin around the ear holes green. This is harmless and will go away upon washing.
